Where'd My Posts Go?

I'm new here an I understood I couldn't post links and videos until I went over 10 posts. Now, however, I tried to do 2 posts with links and got a message saying a moderator had to review the post. 48 hours and 24 hours later both these posts have never showed?

I'm confused. How does posting here work?

I've never had any issues with posting any links when I have. Maybe theres something wrong with your account?

You need to have a certain number of posts before you can start posting links. It's a failsafe against something like bots coming in and posting porno/virus links. Once you get a certain number of posts (I forget how many), you can start posting videos or links of w/e.

I'm looking into this now. Sorry for the delay in responding, didn't see this thread until just now.

As far as I can tell, your account seems perfectly normal, but I can't find the two posts you've said are awaiting moderation (in fact, as far as I know, there's no provision for moderators to approve posts in this fashion...).

I've posted a question in the staff forums to see if I can get an answer from an administrator, and will update when I get a response.

Shouldn't be necessary, no. I've seen this problem once before, but there weren't any clues then regarding what happened either. Hopefully whichever admin takes a look can ferret out what's wrong.

Nah it'll happen here too. That post up there was my 189th post, but it was stuck on 187 lol. been on 187 for 2 weeks.
