Ok heres the thing with the FFXI cursor on the pc, when you open a menu the cursor goes over to the first item but when you move the mouse it goes back to its original position before the menu was opened.

I don't know about you guys but i find it rather annoying that its constantly jumping around the screen is there a way to either keep the cursor in the menu are when the mouse is moved or to stop it from constantly changing position and is there anyway to get the mouse wheel to scroll through the menus.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thx

You can simplify the process of going through the menus by using the arrow keys and enter. You can even tab through enemies, and press enter twice to engage, enter-up-enter to check, or create a party macro to /target <bt> so you don't have to use the mouse at all.

Ugh. There's a reason I gave up on using a mouse with my PS2. The mouse would get bumped (especially since it's not like I'm at a desk) and FFXI would "give me the bird".

You could try turning your mouse upside-down when playing FFXI.

Good news managed to figure out how to prevent it from jumping to a new menu once you open it.
