Sig problems

Maybe this was covered somewhere already and I missed it, but ever since the FFXIonline update, I cannot update my sig.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Goto USERCP , than there's Signature option to the left bar.

I have no problems getting to the C.P. panel. What Iam having problems with is this:


No matter what I do, I keep getting this error. I tried with just the image and still got the error.

um, thats pretty self explanitory, you have too many characters in you sig

That would mean [img]url[/img] and looking at the images properties for address couldnt be over 1000 characters so how does he have to many characters?

actually, now that I look at his sig, it might. he's got an awful lot of extraneous formatting tags in there.

In his sig most jobs are green and the levels are a dif shade of green which would indicate alot of tags lol and some are red ontop of that and in bold or itallic or underlined, almost every word has its own formatting tag. I wouldnt be suprised if the whole sig was over 1ooo characters but I dont get it not working with just image.

he's got a lot of formatting tags before the image as well; hence "extraneous"

anyway, this is a user error. I've modified the sig so it's plain and basic so it should allow you to edit your job info now. if you want to add the extras later Shep, do so sparingly.
