Hello everyone

Hey <_< I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself.

My nickname is Jekk, I'm turning 16, I am a girl, and I'm buying Final Fantasy XI for PC tomorrow^_^ I've watched trailers and read about FFXI, and it looked so good I didn't even care about the monthly fee.

I hope I'm not posting in the wrong area.. anyways, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've read some posts and you all seem nice

They sell FFXI money for real money (if I'm wrong feel free to slap me =P)? I'd never do that.

1. I want to earn everything on my own in any MMORPGs (or just RPGs)
2. They could scam >_<

Anyways, I don't think I'll be going on any other forum. It's hard finding friendly ones so I'll stick here where people seem really kind.^^

Alla was a (popular) forum/database, but it's losing people because of their ties to IGE. Gilsellling doesn't seem like much of a problem until you watch gilsellers (people who do nothing but try to make money so they can sell it) monopolize camps and try to do anything they can to stop anybody else from getting what they're trying to get.
(Plus them flooding the market with gil last christmas, majorly inflating prices on all servers was a problem too...)

Gilsellers sort of went from being a major joke and dying to easy monsters to fighting some of the things endgame linkshells touch, giving them major headaches too.

Anyway...ending random tangent. D: Hi Jekk. '-')/ These are probably the most "new player" friendly boards around, at least out of all the ones I've been to.

Thanks!^^ I'm actually buying the game in an hour or two, I can't wait! =P

Hmm.. but I keep thinking about characters. A site said it's an extra $1 per month for each character.. and I'm not that rich so I guess I'll have to make one and stick to it.

I was thinking a Mithra theif... anyone have some suggestions? I'm usually a magic user on MMORPGs, but lately I've started liking quick characters.

i have only one character and all my jobs are over 30 exept warrior and ninja. i am a taru taru. when i play a melee i use lots of hp and str gear. when i play a mage all i do is play cuz i have the int and mp. I love being a taru but if i wasnt a taru i would go for a human. human can do any job. its very balanced. Taru can do any job but for the melee you have less attack and defence so you have to buy extra gear to even it out. If you have a MSN messenger screen name or a AIM screen name please tell me it so i can discuss things with you. Also if interested in joining valefor with my LinkShell you can contact me.

I suggest Taru if you like mages. Taru can be a good thf as well just lower hp.
