Donating gil and raising your post count basically adds to our resident non POL associated Final Fantasy RPG located at "Store and RPG" You can create a toon and play an offline version of Final fantasy. the gil lets you do upgrades to avatars and your character. REP points basically show how much you contribute to the forums overall.

They arent controlled by you but by people who find you helpful and informative.

I've been piddling around in the RPG this morning. I can't play FFXI for a couple of days, so it's a nice distraction. It's either that or scrubbing my bathroom floor.

Hi. I like to go on message boards while waiting for stuff in game on my other computer so hopefully this will be a nice diversion. I have heard that you guys are different than the rest but honestly everyone says that so we will have to see . Already I like the site layout so thats a plus. Another website that I go to sometimes for just layed back fun and conversation is adultswim if anyone posts there as well. Not ffxi related but nice anyway

just as a side note, the Adsense stuff. I'm trying my best to filter all the RMT ads, but google only allows 200 links, and i'm almost hitting the cap. The ads are only shown to guest users, i think it's only fair to show it to guest visitors as the site is being contributed to and from all members. The server cost sets me few thousand dollars down the hole for me and another due is coming up in July. but I don't ask people for anything more. As my main goal of the site was to have a place for chatting and sharing information.

I have had mog and ige and ign and couple other people email me regarding possible purchases of the ffxionline.com site or possible mergers, but I blew all of them off ever since 2003. The cost of this site is priceless, i would never sell it or merge it with outside companies. Everyone on FFXIO espicially the staff members (moderators) are trying their best to keep things under control.

I've said this countless times, but I am in no way trying or looking to make money here, just keep things running and i'm happy most of times, I'm usually more than okay with the money I make by purly working. Any extra money that comes in contact with me either by working or side jobs, they all go back into the servers running my sites, "ffxionline.com" , "feonline.com" , "kang.tv" , etc. or my automotive hobbies.

And note that the adsense sucks by the way, I had it runnning on site for past 3 month, and no income, ROFL ironic.

Eh, you know how forum users can be. There was a little blood in the water over at Alla, and now it's feeding frenzy.

Adsense is really annoying. Don't be surprised if they cancel your account just before it's time to pay, saying you did some mysterious thing to break the rules. :/
