Anyone care to explain the Gil/Referral system? So far i've figured out you can use the gil to buy stuff, and you seem to get more when you post...do you get more for replies to threads, too?

And just what are referrals all about @_@




And about Allakhazam 10k, when you hit 10k your star count changes to 'No 5th Star' and the admins give you a custom title.

I might hit 10k while ferrying people here, or I might not. Either way, I talk to some of them on IRC, so they'd tell me what the title would've been

Alla was a great place, but it was made on the sweat/blood/contributions of players. With those players coming here, let's hope this forum improves by their presence. I'd had to see this place become Alla Jr.

I'm coming on over myself. I have visited this place before, but stuck around Alla for the info it had. Time's are a-changing, yes indeed.

Edit: And thanks Feba for showing us a way out of Alla to somplace new to call home.

I just went to look around alla's main board. So much is going on about this taking over topics. : /
What amazed me are posts by people who think Alla's not going to be affected and made some 5 pages essay post to back up their theory.... looks like a waste of energy to me but they are pretty well thought out at least.

Someone else will be able to explain it better, but from what I understand, you can add or remove points from another poster's reputation but clicking on the box at the bottom right of their post. You can also explain why you think that particular post is poor quality or worthy of notice. Beyond that, I don't really know what it all means.

The gil seems to increase as you post. I have no idea what the donating does though. I mean, I get that it donates gil to someone else, but I'm not sure I understand why you would want/need to do that.

I know about the "No 5th Star" business and all that. I didn't realize that you didn't get any say in your custom title though.

However, remember this, this is not alla; the shit you get away with there will not be tolerated here. Behave yourselves or go back.

Most of us that are leaving are the civil and helpful guys that doesn't want to support the real-lfe currency MMORPG market and look for a independant and intelligent alternative.

Alla were a big slug-fest I agree on that, but it had a large community so your voice were heard if you posted there. And a lot of the us oldies from Alla usually just talked with ourselves and avoided the slug-fest and mess Alla where really.

So all in all I don't think you have to worry so much about getting the Alla squad, it is more like the reasonable crowd that is migrating from a sinking ship.
