Hello everyone, I play Alaric on the Asura server, I play a LV. 16 WHM.
I started playing on the Xbox 360 last week. My fiance got Addicted during the Xbox Beta test and plays the WAR Mala on Asura.
Now since I started playing i've had a bit easier time since I had my fiance who has War 17 and RDM 16 helping me out, but I have to say I've gotten lot's of help from just random people.
I haven't encountered many of the A-holes that see to flock to games like this.
The only bad people I have encountered were people telling me my party sucked because our BLM (also a newbie) accidently aeroed Leechs (he will never do that again I am sure), but for the most part all of the older players have been extremely helpful about offering advice, making sure I get key items for things like the Sub-Job quest (Thank you Cervix!)
All in all I fail to see how anyone would put up with the crat at WOW.
So in short thank you to the FFXI community for being so sweel to new people.
