Is that how you spell it? "N-EI-gh" or is it "IE". That's not important.... anyway:

Hey everybody. First, let me appologize... I've been here a few days, started one thread and posted in another and didn't even say hello! Not that I completely lost my manners, but (I'll be honest here) I like to get a good guage of the forums before I make the decision to stick around. And I mean that in the nicest way... really, I do. I'm sure you know how it can be... but I won't get into that.

What is important is that I like it here so far. I don't know what it is about FFXI communities, but you ALL know how to make a person feel welcome! Really, you're great!

But enough about you, lets talk about me! Haha.... yeah. Anyway, I used to play FFXI long ago. I'm talking this time two years ago long ago. infact, I think it was about this time of year almost exactly that I installed it! Just before the PS2 release because my PC was just as good and I didn't want to fork out the cash for an adapter and.... well, that's not important either. But I'm coming back! I've been watching a lot of Vana'diel Live and it's just really growing on me again.

A bit more about myself, incase you're still reading this I might as well give you another reason (term 'reason' read as "long babbling paragraph to read that will make you want") to stop reading. I'm in my 20's, working fulltime at a radio station. I've graduated College and moved to a small city close to the cities of Ottawa and Montreal, Canada (for work). When I say I work fulltime, I mean weekdays standard 9 - 5... which doesn't always leave a lot of time for gaming and time I'm sure I'll need to put in to this game. But meh. I like the game and I'll do what I can when I can.

Oh, and I like typing a lot.

    See you all around!

I agree. These forums are great. It's nice to be able to discuss topics with everyone else here.

What radio station? Heh, i "worked" on a pirate radio station for 2 years until it became too expensive to go on, since yea it was just a hobby.

Anyway, welcome! You seem like a cool cat hehe, have fun!

The stations I'm working for are the Corus Entertainment cluster in Cornwall, On. I don't really do much on-air. Well, that's not true... I write commercials for all three stations so I guess technically what I do gets to air. But, they're quite legit and a lot of fun to work for!
