Lost Character

Hello I wasn't sure if this had been answered before though It probably has. I quit playing about a year ago (don't remember exactly when) and I had canceled my account. I just got back and find out that canceled accounts have their contents deleted after 3 months (was there a warning when I canceled?). Anyway, before I waste my breath on account support, has anyone ever had their characters recovered? I understand there was some character recovery service a while back but I think that was started after my character had already gone caput. Would be nice to have all the hours of time back that I spent playing

i tried to get my character back after a year break to no avail.

There was a campaign a while ago, that allowed old players to revive their character if they still had the login details. I don't know if that's still possible.

No, it's not. I tried like a week after it ended because I found out late and they wouldn't let me do it.

Was there a warning when I canceled my account? If not it seems like a really bad marketing strat to delete characters, they've had to have lost money over it. Keeping the database to store characters on can't possibly be that costly that deleting characters would be worth it.

I believe there is a warning that your character's data will only be maintained for a certain amount of time.
