For some reason when I look at a thread that has screens in it, instead of just showing the picture it automaticly says : Attachment: anypicture.jpg now. It didn't do that before .

It's not really a big problem but it's really irritating having to press these links to see a frikkin picture, it takes to long! I've checked my user cp options but all of them were correct. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. And if I'm saying something really stupid, please tell me, I can handle it(I think).

Sorry, it's something that I'm experimenting with... I'm trying to save some bandwidth and give less stress to forum db connections. If you have noticed, I've made some changes to the displaying of posts, etc. It's all a experiment, and if dosn't make any difference either for bandwidth or # of concurrent connection to db, i'll set it back to how it was.

But it does seem to be helping with handling over 150 members connected to server and viewing all posts etc, but we'll see what happens at the end.

I think what PiNG did was great... I mean the pages load faster and when you click on the image link it only concertaites on the page it is loading clicking on links it not that big of a deal I mean its going alot faster in my computer trying and now I can go to the screen shot selection and look at them with nice speed
      Blm.75 - Whm.56 - Mnk.58 - Rdm.48 - Nin.37 - War.37 - Drk.37

If it really makes a difference to the server speed then you should keep it this way. I don't want the server to be slow just because I'm to lazy to press a few links  .

Well, i was wondering the same thing about the attachments so i started looking around and found this thread. Now this is just a thought...and would require additional coding, but how about making it so when you click the picture it will load on the same page and when loaded, look just like the forums used to. It would save loading time for those with slower connections, be less stressful on the database, and be less annoying to use because it's not opening a new window to view the pictures (which isn't always annoying, but for me it is more often then not i know). But like i said, probably take alot more coding, and it's just a thought

Not that what I say really matters, but I like the actual pictures showing up. Maybe you could have an option whether to have pics or links. Its not a big deal, but clicking the links for each individual picture is a slight annoyance.
