I tried uploading a gif today for my new avatar and it got rejected just because it's animated. Uploading it into photobucket still got it rejected. If it's not too hard to do, can we get animated avatars?

Well, that's precisely what baffled me - the default avatars already ARE animated. So not having animated custom avatars was lame.
While we're on the subject, though, is there any reason why my gif got cropped to 188 pixels vertically? I mean, I knew it'd get cropped to 150 on the horizontal side, but the vertical limit is supposed to be 350. Not too big of a deal, but I figure it's better to report it sooner than later.Comment

I have my browser configured so it doesn't show animations like that.
Gifs/etc. gets pretty annoying after a while. Specially if everyone in a forum is using them.

The coffee machine is in the staff lounge.
Luckily for me you asked for something easy. Allow animated gifs is a button in the control panel. No idea about the cropping though. I'll see if there's an obvious answer.Comment
