There used to be chat onsite, but it wasn't used much and was removed. If it came back, I'd definately use it.

Yes, but we all said we'd use it when it was there, and no one did. I mean, I tried, but there wasn't anyone to talk to. And then there was this one guy, and he was all "Who are you?" and I was like "Aelathir", and then he left.

^ Agree. IRC for forums never works as well as one might hope, as people talk in IRC instead of carrying on conversations on the forum.
