Gil Problem

For some odd reason I always have one gil and can't deposit it in the bank.

I can deposit all but one gil but never that last one.

Help? <.<

Have you been using the bank and not clicking on the link it tells you to click so it updates? That's my only guess...

The bank gives you money on how much money you have in there. It works like a normal bank in that regard. I never bothered to check how much or how often. Plus I don't believe people can steal money out of your bank with the "thief" function on the forums.

dunno, it's the same for me too (and probably everyone else). I guess it's a "feature"

and to answer you DH, the bank allows you store your forum gil and accrue interest; all the while keeping it safe from thieves.

That 1 gil it shows is a fraction of a gil. It rounds and won't let you put all of your gil in the bank.
I think at around 50k gil in the bank, you start drawing about 1k gil a day in interest.

lol no, it's a glitch. When I once tried to deposit money to my bank, it wouldn't let me....and lo and behold! I have -1655 gil.

it's a design of the system. It is possible to have decimal amount of gil on here, but the system in many places round it up to whole gil amounts. Bank only allows you to deposit whole gil amounts. Check under "Store and RPG" -> "RPG Status Panel" in there you should see your gil amount with any decimal setting. If you have a decimal amount that's why you are stuck with 1 gil left, it a rounding thing your running into.

Also to note the intrest rate on the Bank here is higher then a RL bank. No way in a RL bank that after about 6 months you'd have 405k from only 5k start.
