Well, I've waited about a month, but PiNG never got back to me about resetting my rep. So, since I really dislike having an undeserved red dot next to my name, I ask here: Is there anyone else who can reset my reputation points? I don't want to harrass PiNG, but I don't know who else to contact.

BTW, even though my account was registered in 2004, I made 2 posts back then and left, not returning until the drama at alla. I tried to "thief" someone, thinking it was just for fun and not realizing that my rep would be affected. Please help me out if you can, with any information at your disposal.

You can get a better rep by having people add to your Reputation, but thats nothing that you can control yourself.

TheGrandMom: Yeah, I know. But when I first used the "thief" thing and posted about it, I was directed to a post where PiNG was resetting reputation points for that very reason. However, whether because he's too busy or has stopped doing it, my rep remains the same. I sent him a PM about it, too.

Indeed, I stole from 2 people, and my reputation stayed in the green, so I don't think it's fair that you have crappy reputation because of one thief.

They should put some sort of warning, that you will lose reputation, before you attempt to steal.

Y'know, people don't have to rate me down just because I'm asking a question. I made an honest mistake. Why not go rate down someone who's trolling or causing trouble, or being rude?

Half the rate-ups I get are from people with no reputation anyway. >_> So it doesn't change anything.

I agree. Shame more folks don't use the comments section, but I guess that could take a turn for the awful or the awesome depending on the comment.
