So, Ill bet there are hundreds of posts about this BUT for some reason or another when I use search all I ever get is about 50 pages of topics and let me tell you, theres no way this 56k is gonna find anything fast there. ON with the topic!

What are republic points for, do they effect gil gained per post and why did I just loose 50 f'in points and gill from attempting to steal from someone with a lower rep than me, mine was at 11 about 2mins ago btw and now its -39 aka 0. >

You lose reputation points any time you attempt to steal from anyone, regardless of your relative ranking, and apparently regardless of whether or not you succeed.

For the RPG on here you gain gil in 3 ways pretty much. Either post (Excluding Offtopic Forum), use "Thief!", or someone donates gil.

If you use Thief! you loose reputation no matter what, chances of success is valued on reputation. To gain reputation you have only one way to do so, members on the board rating you up (So post stuff that's significant and gets members to rate you up). On the same flip of the coin members can also rate you down making your reputation worse.

Oh, forgot about the Lottery too you can take a chance at that as well.

Thanks, Ill start ratig up ppls posts that are usefull and theyll notice themselfs being rated up and start rating up other people until rating is unstopable, maybe ill get some rate ups then,. :D

I have a question about the whole rating up business x_x I've noticed that in my control panel I have rate ups that either have a small yellow square next to them or a small green square next to them. What's the difference? The yellow dot is an image named reputation_balance.gif and the green dot is named reputation_pos.gif. >_> What is reputation_balance?
