I don't want to leave the site... but i was just thinking about... is there away to to unregister yourself from a website without getting banned? thanks for any help
Is it this site he's even requesting to have his account deleted from though? How to get your account removed some sites might not have a way to remove an account without being banned, mostly by choice not design.
Reason for that is mostly because the sites provide a "logout" function so you can keep your data safe from anyone else that uses that same system. As an effect anyone else that uses that system won't know you actually have an account there unless you are currently logged in or have that system remember you the next time you login.
EDIT:
Lol, didn't read his original post to well. Guess he is refferring to this site. Well there are three way you can logout of this site, so they don't really know you have an account here unless you are currently logged in at the time or forget to logout.
On the Home page on the right side there's an button in the "Options" list to log out, but also if you go to the Forum/Message Board at the bottom there's an option to logout.
It's usually because of that feature that I don't think there's always an option to make yourself a member and then not at will. Fotrunatly some of the admins on here are pretty responsive so that does seem to be an option here as well.

ahhhh i get it. i guess i mis read/understood the question. There's no way to remove your self from the actual site/forum but it's different for all forums, some site may have that function and some don't. if you must remove your account for some reason, Best bet is to PM the forum moderator/admin and tell them to remove it for you. Other than that, what Macht said is right, you can just simply log-out.
