IP Address Banned?

Hi - I'm new to the site. Just started reading earlier in the week and finally registered yesterday, I think.

Anyhow, as I'm browsing threads I ocassionally get a message that comes up and tells me that my IP address has been banned. About a minute later it's fine though, and I'm back in business. This didn't happen prior to registering, only since I've actually registered.

Can someone shed some light as to why this is happening? I know for some boards if they do a ban to get rid of one person, it sometimes blocks others as well. Maybe this is what's happening.

Sorry about that... failed to check the boards. I checked up on your problems and it seems that your fine, your IP address isn't blocked at all, any part of it, and no one else has used your IP address. If problems countine, maybe vB is reading your IP address wrong. Next time you get the message, pop open another window, jump to www.whatismyip.com and PM me that to me (Don't post it, security reasons) then i'll look at it again.
