The journal section on the main page

Has anyone else noticed that 99% of the posts there arent even journals? I'm sure the space could be put to better use somehow. I think it needs to be regulated more or something, because the things being posted there are ridiculous.

The journal is just a little box, nothing too big. People are free to post what they want, as it is a journal. More regulated? Perhaps, but than we would have complaints over people's 'freedom of speech' of the boards, so it's better left alone unless it becomes a large problem.
