Well, ever since PiNG let the other people host his site, its been really slow, im on DSL and it takes me 5-15 sec to go from page to page. Even all my friends have the same problem, (and theyre on different ISP's) so its not my ISP, since i measured the speed, and im getting 3.1 MBPS downstream and close to 1 meg upstream. Im not here to nag, just wondering if anyone else have these problems, and what could be done to fix this.

By making your SIG a little bit smaller might help out.... not might..... ALOT. Those are one of the reasons why it's slow.

yes it happens to all of us....

u r lucky to have 5 sec per page.... i have to wait for about average of 2 min.(about).... and many pple, if not all, seems to have this problem as well...from reading many posts recently, mostly in the wrong forum


and i agree w/ Rico.... maybe we need some restriction w/ the sig (width/height or size) or else the admin will again disable the sig img function like they did before (pls don't)

and pple who just join us recently if u read this, the sig function has been turned off before so pls use your sig wisely or else we all get taken the privilage off.... again...

EDIT: your net is really faster, and took my posting place anyway.... thanks ....u don't actually need to take the whole thing off.... just resizing it a bit (well, a bit a lot):p

yeah, we're currently discussing signatures.

it's always great to have a sig pic, but we're seriously considering putting a restriction on having big-arse pictures in your sig.

in my opinion, regular banner size should be the maximum. thankfully i'll be back home in 2 weeks, and i can shrink mine down a bit then ^_^
