Best server to start on?

Hi I used to play a blm/whm over level 40 back in 2002 I think. It's been a long long time but SE finally got me with the super cheap bundle on steam. I've missed the graphics secretly for years >.>

Anyway I jumped on last night to Midgarsorm my old server to start a new character and realized the starter towns were barren. So the question is now that I'm looking to make a new character which server is good for newbs right now?

Also I loved blm but I did find the 2008 census and noticed blm/whm has the highest number of players. Is there an overpopulation of BLM or WHM I should worry about and instead make another support class?

From what I've heard pretty much all the servers are equally barren in the starter areas. Everyone's moved on to Jeuno or Whitegate. The game is incredibly top heavy now, so new players are hard to find.

You should probably just play a class you'll enjoy and worry about invite rates later. No sense in leveling something you don't have fun playing right?
