There was talk of this on the population of your server thread and I thought it was agreat discussion topic. So how is player trader on your server?
On bahamut I am still technically new to the server only been there less then 6 months and haven't traveled to Aht yet. There is a trader alley on the Rolanberry fields, it not really bad but is not great. Alexandrite (sp?) is sold cheap from alot of them, manny parts are rare but they aren't godly expensive. I see alot of +1 gear out there but mostly it is the same setup Fairy had before I left.
Bastok has some perma mules at firewayter circle and the ah in bastok mines (guessing they are dual boxing) that sell small stuff like ores, lumber, ingrediants,low level armor and to my suprise potions but since they are common casket drops now I shouldn't be. The most rare bazaar which I did for a bit is to camp out the blacksmith guild with iron ore in your bazaar. I did it after mining when I was level 6 in smithing and could make the craft, ironically now that I can attempt iron iron ore is rare for me to get but zinc is dropping like crazy -.-... AH here is not really active on things other then crystals 10-25 gear and powders and pots most likely crafters that know people will make tunnel runs to the desert.
Sandy is overall the leading nation and around the Lion square. The sell more stuff then bastok permamules some sell juices, a few had whole armor sets, and one mule was filled only with powders and oils, which I bought two stacks for my jungle travels. I haven't visited their ah but they have constant traffic of all levels checking it so it must have an assortment of goods.
Windy, I really don't visit here much. But I did stay there for a bit to get aspir scroll. Didn't see alot of bazaars and the AH is filled with quest items. the fishing fatigue seem to cut sharply on people fishing around town. but there are still some that do it.
Jeuno...Ok its busy always. There are regular gamblers that run /random casinos, the town has a view bazaars on every level/ All AHs have character model walls guarding them. Even people are using the venture roll tables (rare). Haven't seen alot of it but people were bartering, and then tele taxing. The biggest hub I have seen, but haven't made it to aht yet.
Selbina has permamules that are placed very well. One of which sells cookies, and kabobs for dune parties, with the occassional piece of gear. Then two npcs near the old man selling cabages and moss for the fame quests.
Mhuara is dead. No one really hangs out there and the AH is reflective of Windy so yeah.
Raobo is a rare spot for me I just stop there for chocos but there are a view bazaars up never checked them. This is home of alot of astral burners.
Bastok [s] is a ghost town. You will see people running around but no real activity. Even chatting. I would think bazaars in a place with out an AH would clean up but either no one thought of it or don't want to hope they draw in customers.
These are all the major hubs I have been to so far so what about you guys?
