Making a new account today, what server should I choose?

Is there anyone out there who wants to do some low-level questing or invite me to a LS? I don't know anyone else playing FFXI.

As has been said many times, servers don't matter.

Choose a random server, and start playing. Generally speaking, if you're not being a complete asshole, when you hit the dunes and your first real partying situation, you'll normally get offered at least one shell.

Really, it is the best way to go.
