Final Fantasy XI servers

this is probably a noob question matter of fact it may not even make any sense but i do need some one to clear this up if they can. i've had Final Fantasy 11 for my xbox 360 for awhile i use 2 play but took a long (about 5-6 month) break but i've decided to start over and play it again but i kno the server i was on last time wasn't that great so i just want to know which final fantasy 11 servers are the best when it comes down to popularity and economy?

well from what ive learned on this forum, each and ever server is the same in popularity but for economy i cant say, as ive only ever played on the titan server.

Personally I think the best server is whatever one you have friends on. When I started I got a world pass to Garuda because the one who refered me was there along with a few other friends who joined along with me.
Economy fluctuates by human supply and demand fortunately it tends to stay relative with increasing cost of hides exc tends to increase the cost of gear made from it and vice versa.
After that how you react in game will build your reputation and determine the kind of new people who want to hang around you.

Every server is for all intents and purposes the same. If you don't have a friend on one that you want to play with, you might as well just randomly choose one.

I'm going to tell you how it is. People that replied no offense but he said the best server, not your one and only server.

I play on Cerberus, I've been on Bahamut, Midgardsormr, Phoenix, also caitsith too.

No back in the day Phoenix was the bomb and so was Ifrit. Ya know? If you where on that server you was spammed out in jeuno trying to get to MH. But now a-days the servers have equaled out to where there on the same lvl besides Unicorn, Fairy, and of course Sylph.. Hell i didn't even know they existed until i visited POL's site. They are what you call, lame to the fullest extent lol.

Don't visit any of them three. While the others are up for grabs i recommend Caitsith, cerberus, and titan. cheers and have fun mate.

I would say most people have only played on one server. How can you give a real answer unless you spent a significant time on all servers?

Well naturally i can't but if you read they're replies except that one that's right before me. You'll notice them referring him/her to their server.

As you notice their not openly saying - Come to my server. They give an open decision but only include their server within the text for an % boost.

It's called friends i have some in all servers besides maybe 5-6. They tell me what's going on and we have fun :D easy and simple that why i have been on servers a-lot. As i jump and jump towards other servers.

If you can still get your character back you can migrate it now to what ever server you want, may be a better choice then restarting if you want to move. If you don't have any real life friends, you may want to stay on your original server because atleast you know people there. I have been on 3 servers.

Shiva-> It has been over 2 years since I have been there I had a good group of friends there all which have moved on since, sold my character for $500 and a mule account to a rich kid at my high school, he got it banned 3 days after trade.

Ifrit-> Was there a long time, made alot of great friends did alot of things there. As for the low level population it can be hard to level up from 1 there unless things have changed in 2 months which I hope they have, ask necro or itaz fore more info. I left when ifrit was filled with drama, all servers have drama ifrit's was bad alot of the drama whores moved away with a few left tho, looks to be alot better of a server then when I left it. Endgame wise few major linkshells most which admit to botting, a few that have rmt leeches and supporters in them. You can make good friends and great enemies on ifrit, being stabbed in the back was ifrit's trade mark in the past, tho now it looks likt a decent server.

Kujata-> A few of us that post here are from kujata, most have been on the server longer then me, Ryan and Me are transfers. Lilith, mhurron, auron all from kujata their maybe others as well. I have contact with almost everyone tho i don't know if the others talk in game. From what I have seen a very good server, has its drama some endgame drama was very bad but it has seemed to calm down now. Tho we do have a fun game its called Where in the world is Mhurron? A tip for play look in the tall grass.

Most people would argue bahamut "is the best endgame server" i.e. because of blue gartr, not too mention their is other good endgame ls there. No one can label a server the best no matter what, you can only say who has the most relics or most players, or most acivity etc.

You can't and people are always biased if they like their server or not, simple fact each server differs with the persons personality and who they befriend.

I am the only one who said come to kujata lol, and even then I referred them to people who have played longer. If someone asks about server and you give info you are answering the question not really recruiting them lol.

Aye but personal exp doesn't always justify the server, it more justifies the linkshell and group of people who work together. You can have people in linkshell a who claim every hnm are rich and own up most of the nms in the game love it say their server is the best and linkshell b who fight bicker and can't claim say it sucks. Or in my case be in neither linkshell and hear drama from both lol =/

This is based on by the economy terms, many players every one wanted in. This was about 2 years ago. :D

Lol but most of that money was all rmt's lol, rmt owned our economy hard lol. I.e. the struggles they had after.
