Xbox 360 Beta - Hydra

First of all I want to get an idea of how many of you are playing on the beta, also, who has an HDTV? Last night the update fixed several HDTV resolution issues, one of them being the inablity to read text, it was pretty amazing.

I also wanted to know who wants to party tonight... I will be reaching level 10 and I've been playing since back in the day during the very first japanese PC version. I loved my GeForce 4 lol. Anyways I am looking for experianced players so of course I come here... there arn't a whole lot of what I would call "smart" people on the beta... as was posted before there are a lot of spammers and people that have never played... however there are also people moving from PC and PS2 to try the game on their xbox 360 just for something to do. If you are one of THESE people please let me know and we should get something together, I'm not sure what the highest level is currently, but I really want to party with some people who want to help the community of the beta and not hurt it... its allready tough enough with the population of sandoria being so outragous... this weekend it was nearly impossible to level because there were about 1000 people in ronfaure alone.

Please get back to me and also, are we going to start a section devoted to the beta and/or the Hydra server? that would be really nice to have...

I would've loved to have a separate forum for Hydra, but unfortunately PiNG, the admin of this site, has been busy and it's been a little tough to get in contact with him.

With beta being over soon, there's not really much of a need for a separate forum by this time. If Square Enix decides to make Hydra a permanent server, rest assured that we'll have a forum up for it right away!

Well, thats ok, beta just started though right? I mean... I guess it ends in april sometime, but it also just started with japanese launch of the 360 which was sometime in november or december... I didn't really expect a seperate section, but it would be nice.

Anyways, I just want to get an idea of who is on the beta and who is interested in banding together to make it a fun experiance for us all.

A 1000 in Ronfare?! HOLY SH#T.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder what Jueno looks like on that server.
I was considering finding a 360 to see what it can do on my big screen.
But with a population like that, pulling a good mob to camp would be impossible,anywhere.
(any pt would be moving around/jumping on anything that moves) for what little exp
they could get.I hope s.e. has a plan to double their current servers to handle this
massive population explosion when this game comes out of beta......

I just got an XB360, and am trying to get FFXI for PC. But after hearing about the beta, I'm trying to find that darn magazine! Oh, and can it be played on the silver edition of xbox live? I don' thave $60 to shell out for a few months service at the moment.

it's playable on live silver, You might have a hard time finding the mag depending on where you live, I spent an afternoon looking for it last week and got lucky =D

Anyways I'm playing, names Ghostpixel, send me a tell, or drop your name here I've been trying to hook up with experienced players as well.

Just hit 10 blm, doing quests and other noobish activities before i start trying to level with these random idiots lol

i'm on hydra......... and it can be hard trying to raise level at times as it seems over populated.

i'm a level 22 RDM with all other jobs at level 10.
