I'm about to start XI and I wanted to know the best server to start on.I had a friend who was gonna' play with me,but he got sent to Iraq.I wanna see bout Bahamut or Leviathon.Please leave a description of your server!Thankee Sai!

there is no best server. all servers are equal (relatively).

Why dont you just let it randomly pick a server, then you will have more fun because you cant really expect anything!

Poke around the server forums if you really want to choose a server and see if you like the posts there and the information that is covered by the community in there. There are some differences between the servers, but genrally gameplay wise, there won't be enough of a difference to matter. It's the community you should consider.

It's already been said but, the servers are pretty much equal.

Although, as a new player, I'd stay away from the servers that are infamously worse off than some of the others. (i.e. Asura, Midgardsormr, Ragnarok, Fairy)

dont base the server you want based on the server specific forums here, its such a small portion of the community and dosent mean anything, but some of the issues are true.. like how badly economy sucks on certain server

i wish people would at least ATTEMPT to find the answer before spamming the boards lol. this question has been answered sooo many times before...

i have a friend who switched servers a couple times. he said leviathan was a good server to start on, because the economy there isn't very bad. he never tried bahamut, so i don't know about that one.

personally, i say just let the computer randomly pick which server to send you to. there's no reason to worry about it, really

You can reroll your char and go to another server if you are unhappy. Every server has its share of bad seeds. Takes time to learn who they are and just avoid them. Have fun.
