Do worlds really matter. I would like to start a new character but play it on a different world. My guess is all worlds are the same just the AH prices are different.

Hmm Phoenix is pretty cheap compared to Lakshmi. I wish My ninja was on Phoenix all the spells are x3 cheaper there.

took your idea and put it into practice. Got back alot of servers offering worldpasses. The only problem was the WP's were offered back in 2003, 2004 gotta love google

thing is, what is your definition of crowded? Remora has about 2200-2900 on most week nights, 3000+ on the weekends. i don't find it to be crowded at all.

Unicorn is over crowded. The prices are so high its hard just to get decent items. Trying to pt with 4-5 other pt's in the same area is a pain as well.

i think you'll find that with all servers, especially the PT-ing with 4-5 other parties bit (though this varies by level).

Well if you didn't have a character already the game would usually place you into the least crowded area at the current time. The game factors server load as part of it choosing method when assigning new players to a server. Since you already have a character to a certain server you'll definatly need to get a WP to get to another.

On average though every server's population should be fairly equal. As this question has been asked many times the average amount usually stated is around 3k for every server. Most servers the highest number ever seen at 1 time is usually averages around 5k.

The servers generally choose a world for you buy multiple factors that would effect game performance. Put on top the "World Shifts" done once in a while and most servers are fairly balanced in population, outside of that the economy flow of each server (Watching prices stated for server on allakahzam and what's said here about certain items) much of it follows the same flow.

So even though a server may have items at a cheaper price the general amout people have on that server is also less. Then the servers with items costing more the general amount people have is also higher. Like my average amount use to be 50k when I started but since prices on my server nearly quadrupled I also have been capable of getting more money, my average now usually sits around 600k.

No, I'm not being silly and forgetting that a lower level and higher level have differences in what they can farm. The 600k is the average my mule has (lv. 7) when I take it out to farm an area. Were as before the price jumps it was 50k average. My lv. 7 is able to do a 2hr session and make around 200k-250k from the items I farm, generally sells within 15 min. too. So on weekend when I ususally do a 6hr session for money you can see how my average hits around 600k.

ok...Content ID's are registered to the name on the account on POL. If I created a character but didnt register it with my current account does it create a new account. (did that make sense). And if it does create a new account is that new character created into my current server?

As long as you have any character that exists you'll go to that character's server, no getting around it with tricks. If you want a character on another server you'll have to get a WP, but it means you are choosing it and not getting the advantage of the system picking the optimal server for you.

Well i will tell you first hand. Carbuncle (unless everyone is getting the dreaded pol errors) there is usually like 2800-3600 on the server. So we have a LOT of people on generally. Just fyi for you if you are trying to find a less congested server.
