What server to play on?

I lost my character on FFXI for being idle for 3 months, well more like 6 now. But, what I was wondering is, what would be a good choice for a server to use when I decide to reactivate my account. I am doubting there's a way to recover my old chair but eh, start a new works for me I guess. Well I want a server with a good community and economy. I would highly appreciate any suggestions or opinions.

I would suggest Ragnarok, Nice people, Not to bad an econemy, And I am there *-*. You can join my LS, we have some 60ish members who help us lower ranked people make it through. I would be honerd if you would come to our server and our Linkshell.

Theres tons of teleporters in Jeuno and lots of Casinos. Allways alot of /tell selling things 100-200k lower than AH. Its all around nice. I started on this server and made it to my levels just fine. PM me for WP if wanted.

wherever you go, the economy will be not so great. i play on midgard, and i love it. lots of great people, a few really good LS's. i've had great times on this server. if your interested send me a pm, i'll hook you up with a world pass and an LS pearl for HiredHelp, my LS

I am choosing midgard, although I don't think I'll need a WP cause a friend is giving me one but I would like a pearl, and I might need a WP but doubtful. I won't have my game for like 5 days cause I ordered it at gamestop with the cheapest shipping cause I wanted it all on 1 dvd and I dont have the expansion on my old account plus with the new game I get a free month.

Nah, I used to play on midgard and since its also being recommended to me I am going back to it. I might see familiar faces so I have things leaning me towards midgard already. If I make a second character I might try a different server.

Hi, I was also wondering what server to play on, but unlike the person above I want a server that is almost brand new. I don't know of any server that just came online, so if anyone does, please post ^_^ WP to there would be awesome too!

Well if you don't have any friends on any server, might as well just start wherever it puts you. Only reason to select a server with a WP is if you know someone there.
