As far as what the aspects to it shows you don't have to know the person, just have someone use the Gold WP you buy.

I too would like to try out a different server, i'm getting kind of fed up with midgardsormr. not that i will switch to the server entirely, i just wanna be able to play in 2 different worlds.

As I just found out today, a gold World Pass only works if your account HAS NOT had any previous characters created on it.
