ps2 vs. pc delay

anecdote:
after maint, our ls went for vivian
suprisingly another NA LS went for the same NM... odds of that.
anyhow, there was about 12 from our LS and at least 18 from the other but i figure with my uber monk chi blast i can win the pull, but then vivian popped purple for me.
now normally i would be competing against JP's that have the delay advantage but this LS was NA and won the pull with dia?

how bad is the pc version delay that i lose to another NA who pulls with dia vs. chi blast?

also, note: ls mate said he saw vivian for a good 3 seconds unclaimed but he was THF/NIN so couldnt pull. he plays pc version so that just means my comp is the suck.

knowing that after the strategy is all confined and jotted down, it really comes down to making the pull. any tips for faster pulling w/ pc version?

If the PC is on full-graphic settings, the difference is at least 3 full seconds if it's really laggy. Totally gimped settings for performance, 1~ish.

Note that this is mostly for HNMs... when it comes to argus, even PC wins buttloads of turbos... >.> Supposedly smaller NMs have less load time so latency starts to matter.... but HNMs there are many ways to get around latency, PS2 being one of them... but many JP use PS2 as well ;3

He's right. I've never even heard of PC users winning pulls on anything in my life. Only way would be PC users vs. PC users. If you want the most uber hacks of all time to win pulls, you can always buy this hack

So once I have my new PC up and running, it will be to my advantage to keep the PS2 around for HNM fights if I'm a puller?
