  • Fishing in Sandoria F¤#%#

Fishing in sandoria is SCREWED now!!
Lu Shang Rod Quest will now take 3x as much time if fishing for moat carp in Sandoria.

Okay - so I spent the last 2 days - doing 4 hours of fishing in Sandoria each day, thats a total of 8 hours of fishing

    - I was also there with a new fishing friend and he couldnt believe that he wasnt catching anything either.

    - I used to catch like 5-6 stacks of moat carp in 8 hours of fishing and on top of that some triclore and gold carp.

Well NOT ANY MORE!!! PLAYONLINE TOTALLY F%% this up after the update.

Within the last 2 days - 8 hours of fishing I've caúght:
    1 Gold carp.
    18 Moat carp
    and 12 Triclore carp.

    - IN 8 HOURS OF FISHING?!?!?!!

Are they for real?! Did anyone know up front they were gonna make fishing impossible in cities now?!?!

dont sit in 1 spot, move arround. also log out ever hour or so.
square added timers for people sitting 1 spot to long or logged in for 2 long fishing to stop botters.

They should have done it another way... just because you're fishing in one spot for a prolonged period of time doesn't mean you're a bot. But then again, what could they do...

Well I was fishing in Sandoria port for all 4 hours but both times I fished for the 4 hours or so I moved around in port S. I usually go around til/from 3 dÃ_fferent locations in the port.

But I mean - this really sucks?? Its much more risky now if you have to fish outside town for moat carp and also it takes alot longer to get the carps.

I really hate when SQ-E makes stuff like this that makes it harder for new players to get e.g. the Lu-shang rod compared to what people who already have it had to do to get it.....

I know this sounds like WHINE lol -
But this is actually the first time I've ever expressed offline and online that I thought somethinge sucked big time like this.

There are 15 non-city zones to catch moat carp in. SE did this so you can actually go out and fish outside of town. I never understood why towns had decent bite rates to begin with. Isnt there any pollution (noise, sound etc). Fishing outdoors, especially in areas with much less people yeilds much better results. Fishing in newbie areas also arn't so good, but fishing in Boyahda Tree or Dragon's Aery is godlike.. if you want to risk fishing there XD. And incase you want a list:

          Boyahda Tree
          Davoi (Pond)
          Dragon's Aery
          East Sarutabaruta (Lake)
          Eastern Altepa Desert
          Jugner Forest (Lake)
          Jugner Forest (River)
          Korroloka Tunnel (Pond)
          La Theine Plateau
          Rolanberry Fields (Lake)
          Rolanberry Fields (Pond)
          West Ronfaure (Knightwell)
          West Sarutabaruta (Pond)
          Western Altepa Desert
          Yhoator Jungle (Underground)
          Yuhtunga Jungle (Pond)
          Yuhtunga Jungle (Underground)
