New fishing nerf

I am asking this here because I would rather get answers from verified users.

What is the new fishing nerf? Rabao doesn't provide moat carp anymroe? There have been a lot ppl really worked up over it and I just wondered what the deal was.

In our Server we have over 100+ Bot fishers at a time in Rabao. You would see Jeuno lag of nothing but these people. You could say /s YOU'RE ALL FISH BOTS!! and they wouldn't say "stfu no I’m not" cause no one is really there.

Fish bots didn't make their money off the Carps entirely. It was from the rusty caps. All those Rabao fish botters made their money from there. They would use light crystals to turn rusty caps into Padded caps which sold to a NPC for a few k or so. It's not much but you can get shitload overnight. They made it so not only do Rusty Caps barely get fished up anymore, they also made it so the padded caps only sell for like 300g to a NPC instead of 3k or whatever it was.

Anyway, the price for Light Crystals went from 13k a stack to 1k a stack instantly. LOL (needed light crystals to turn rusty into padded caps) plus there's only about 10 people at the most fishing in Rabao now. I think it was a good idea really. Not only did it screw over fish botters, it made it so BLMs and RDMs couldn't make 200k+ an hour up in Tulia farming. Which IMO isn't really fair. I think it's kinda lame that Ninjas and RDMs can solo stuff like Serket so I hope square does something about that too. The little "blink goes away from area attacks" isn't really enough.

EDIT: And yes Fish bots do really exist. I know because I have one even though I've never actually fished before. It was something one of my friends got and he showed it to me and let me have a copy. You can buy them for like $4 online...

you didnt even have to buy fish botter, you could just downloadd it, if you knew where to look. but I wont say anymore then that.
