BCNM30 Horlais Peak (not god coins)
Ok me and two friends did this tonight 0/2 ><
Not hard at all but we were unprepared (we went with level 20 gear for bcnm20 but could not get in due to a glitch?) So we decided to try this one and basically got owned. Twice.
It's 3 person party only, level 30 cap. Enemies are two beetles that cast stonega II and seem to have instant tp, (one of the beetles did that armor boost crap before we even engaged)
Our setup was blm/whm war/nin (me) whm/blm. On the first battle we had no idea what was gonna happen. We all ate food, I blinked. I ran in and aggroed both. blm started sleeping one, I voked him (bad move) and engaged the other. One beetle was sleeped so I started meleeing the other, it casted stonegaII. Since the mages were near me we all got hit, and provoke wasnt up yet. Whm starts casting silence, not sure if it stuck but the beetle ran to his ass due to the fact i had no vokes on it yet. my blink died in seconds and i finally voked when timer was up. Mages spammed cures on me getting hate again while i was trying to reblink. I voked and the other beetle wakes up and stonegas us all again. We were all dead soon after, they both started spamming stonegaII and I could not keep hate.
Zoned and tried again, this time i was war/mnk. Buffed (this time with barstone) and charged in. Mages stay near entrance this time while i grabbed the hate. Element seal + sleep failed this time. I made a provoke <st> macro this time and voked the non-sleep one while i meleed the other, both started casting Stonega. Raped. I 2 houred but mages STILL got hate from silence and sleep. Not sure if the silence stuck but i totally lost aggro. Whm died and me and blm died right after.
Recommended pt? Two tanks with potions, one brd/whm or 2 tanks, one whm.
