Leathercraft 1-40 Guide?

Anyone know a good guide for Leathercrafting? I wanna get to around level 40 or the late 30's and was wondering how much this is gonna cost me and what's the best way to go about it. I'm not really concerned with making a profit at the start but if there is a way to make a profit or break even easily I will do it. If not I don't really mind losing money.
