Hey everyone.

Ive been playing FFXI since april of 03.. basically as an importer and later a normal retail owner on the american version.

I created Trigun on Bismarck last November and to my surprize has been strong every since and is still growing. Ive seen other linkshells start and crumble shortly after, i've also seen many stay strong since the beginning.

But as of the passed month or so I've only seen a max of about 3hrs of game time, due to the fact that the working career I've chosen (USAF) has taken all my precious FFXI time.

Now, im deactivating my account but theres a problem. Once Pearl Creator goes, LS crumbles right? Please tell me im wrong. Many people in my LS have become good friends even though ive never met them. THey are very nice and willing to help others when needed. I don't want them to log on only to find out that the LS does not exist anymore.

Is there ANY way the pearl creator can designate a sack holder as official leader? If not im going to have to ask them to create a new shell before I finally Terminate Trigun.

You are correct! Just tell the like...2nd in command person to create a new LS with same name or new name and disband the old one. :D

Nope, no way to pass on leadership or use the same name for an ls. Once you use a name, it's forever taken in your world. :/

No, it does not "crumble". It will still exist even if the pearl creator is deleted.

You can trade the original linkshell, right?

If so, pick one of your sackholders (the one you trust the most, the closest one at the time, etc., doesn't matter to me, probably does to you) and trade it to them for the sack, then drop the sack.

The LS can stay together without any real problems this way. Hopefully.

Sorry to hear you're leaving, even though I'm not on the same server... it sucks when people have to quit fun stuff like this. ^..^
