Last night I was playing in Gustaberg when a kind JP Whm came by and healed me while I was resting. I sent him tell and thanked him and he responded with ^^.
A little while later he sent me another /tell with reading (Mhaura), I replyed asking what he meant and it went down hill from there. At first he was telling me that Mhuara was hard, so I thought that he might be asking me for help. He sent a /tell with some JP characters (Mhuara)(Selbina) and the word 'paty', which I figured meant party. I tried to ask him if he wanted me to go to Selbina and then take a boat and meet him in Mhuara, I didn't think that was verry likely because we were both only level 10 and know that Mhuara is a level 18 PT area. He sent me a tell with more JP characters and I told him that was I was sorry I did not understand, asked his forgivness and told him to take care. He then sent me a few more /tells some of it alt-tabed and some in english and was talking about the sub-job quest, the english phrases he used confused me and I thought that he might be inviting me to come to Selbina and get the items for the sub-job quest. I didn't want to out-right ask him if I could have the items, because I thought that would be offensive and thats all I could do with alt-tab so I tried asking him if he wanted me to come to Selbina. I think he thought I was asking if I could only get the items that day becuase he replied "every day ok".
Well, our conversation ended after that. After I reviewed the chat log a few times I realized he was telling me where the sub-jobs items drop (He used 'throw down', which at first I thought might mean 'come down' as in 'come down to Selbina'). I think what happened is that he mistakenly sent me the "/tell (Mhaura)" that he ment to send to some one else. Then when I started alt-tabbing trying to figure out if he wanted my help or was going out of his way to help me, even though I didn't ask for it; he thought that I was asking for his help and tried to explain the sub-jobs to me and that Selbina is easier than Mhuara.
I would like some one who can type in JP to send me a PM so I can give you his name so that you can appologize for me and explain what I thought was going on.
