Items with hidden Effects

I know some items like Carbuncle Mitt's give hidden stats like -mp for carbuncle use. But does anyone have a site where i could dig up more info on the subject?

What i'm really curious to know are what the shoes cactar nm's drop do. They have no listed abilities and yet high level JP monks pay million + for them leaving me confused as to why.
I'm refering to Kung Fu Shoes, the upgrade Wulong Shoes, and the Rare/Ex Dune Boots.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

The hidden effect for those boots is some sort of a kick damage + for the monk kick extra attack.

All the elemental staffs give -mp usage for the corrosponding smn. For example wind has -garuda MP.

I've seen smn's that have them all, and switch everytime they summon

Opo-Opo Crown is a nice example of a hidden effect.

Gives +1 to all stats and -7 CHR. However, when you eat a Pamama(food thing sold in Kazham) you'll activate the crown's hidden stats of +50 HP +50MP and +14 CHR.

My best guess at a translation: basically from what I can tell, you need to accept quest from person in kazham (vuih something), located by the pier. You need to trade in the items 1 at a time in the order specified. If you mess up the order/trading you have to start from the beginning of the quest, so be careful.

1st item I think is a mithra fishing rod
2. ?? no idea work table, made from wood crafting
3. since the enemy names are listed in english, zone names: horoturo (however you spell it, place with the cardians)
4. zvahl
5. fei'yin
6. uggalepih
7. sea grotto
8. ifrit's cauldron (this looks like hardest item to get)
9. quicksands
10. boyahda

Yea but you have to eat it and the item is Rare/Ex so its not something you can do everytimg you want to farm.
