Would greatly appreciate 2 WP's for any decent world

Hello everyone

My friend and are planning on getting the game the 24th, when it should be in stores for the PS2. He's getting it for the PS2, and I'm getting it for the PC. I could have gootten it already but we have this thing, sort of like a tradition, where we get it together and start plaing it around the same time, we've done it with past FF titles.

Anyway, after doing some research and reading the Q & A section at Square's Playonline site I have just found out about the whole server/world thing and am kinda bummed out and angry about it. I think they should at least give you some choice as to which server to be on.

So I'm thinking, either we both get it but one of us waits to play it until the other one is able to buy a WorldPass, or I get it now for the PC and try to get one by Wednesday. How much do they cost though? Can anyone give me a rough idea, like a couple hundred, a couple thousand, or more? That means I have to rush into the game though, and try to get it ASAP, and that does kinda put a hamper on being able to enjoy the game.

I was trying to find another option, doing searches and all and that's how I found this place. I was wandering if it would be possible for someone to get me 2 Worldpasses for the same world, for my friend and I for the 24th. I don't really have a preference as to which one, though Bahamut, Ramuh, Shiva, and Odin have always been 4 of my most favorite summons, and the Ragnarok server sounds like it's a good server too, but I will take what I can get.

It would be greatly appreciated, and I will pay you back however you want, on your terms, and, I am even willing to pay a small amount of real money for them by way of a Money Order if that's what it takes and/or if it is easier than trying to get the money in-game to pay you back. I'll pay like $15-$20 for both passes, or we can negotiate.

Also, I have a question, if you have a friend in the game, how do you get to them? What if I start out in San D'Oria and he starts out in Bastok, I'm assumming the only way to join up would be for say, me, to go to Bastok to meet him?

Last but not least, unless someone has already used it, Sakyia is the name I will go by, and I will be an Elf Red Mage, male, one of the younger versions. Most likely I will have the Black Mage Job as my support job, if not that than a thief, but most likely the BM. My friend will most definitely be a warrior, if not that than a Monk, but most likely a warrior, either a Garuda one or a Hume one, male.

So if you ever needed help with a quest or something, perhaps him and I could help, when we get higher in the levels and get stronger.

By the way, I finished downloading the patches and updates! Ahh...what a relief.. Now I can play! It took around 12 hours with my 56K Dial-up modem. There was 2789 files to DL. For the last 4 hours of it I was asleep and set my alarm to go off right before it should have been done. I then got up, turned my monitor on and saw the message that the connection was lost.. I logged back on and was praying I wouldn't have to DL all those files again (you shouldn't have to once they're DL'ed, right?). It had to check/verify the 8 thousand three hundred and some files again, which didn't take long, and then it showed I only had 80 files left, about a half hour. I then thanked my computer and PlayOnline.

I sent an email to the support center of Playonline asking them how long it would take and they said 10-12 hours, so, they were right, (as I would expect them to be).

I'll be waiting until Wednesday to start with my friend, at which time I'll create my character.

Natasha, I tried accessing my options and I can't seem to change my avatar, and it says "You must have at least 0 posts" to choose one or something like that on the top of the page where all of the avatars are. Either I'm missing something, or perhaps I'm blind, or perhaps both. :confused:

Yay, I finally got my avatar changed, this is definitely the one I will be choosing when I create my character. I'm supposed to get a Fenir WP soon, so my friend and I can start together and join up in the beginning somewhat. We're most likely going to start in San D 'Oria.

My name will be Sakyia, which is sort of an alter-ego name. I am a spell person, I like spells, I am the kind of person who likes to use attack spells, but I also like to have somewhat of a variety of spells, including at least 1 or 2 healing and a few support, and some misc.

I also love swords though. You could give me a choice of 15 different kinds of weapons, and it won't matter, a good sword would be my choice. I like to use spells, but I also like to, and want to be able to, attack and be decent at it, so, that's why the Red Mage is my choice, and that's why I'll probably have the Black Mage as my support job.

The one other thing I like a great deal, which is practically and immediate 2nd after attack spells, is summoning, I love summons and I can almost guarantee that I'll want to become one eventually, unless I'm in a good group that already has a summoner or 2, if that's the case, then I'd either choose a Samurai, Dark Knight, or a Ninja (in that order of interest).

Aside from spells and summons, I've always loved being a good thief...

Oh yeah, and that name Sakyia, it's pronounced:

"Sssahhh (as in "ahhh")...ky (as in "pie" or "tie" but with a k replacing the p, or t)...ya" (as in "ya", slang for "yeah", or "ahh" w/ a "y" in front of it). I say it fairly fast though, not as slow as it may be percieved, so the "yahh" sounds more silent like "ahh".

I've used that name for every RPG main character that I have played as for the past 5 or 6 years, it's a thing, and my alter-ego name.

Yes, that's probably considered to be a useless piece of info, heh, but I've had some people think I'm a girl on other boards because they pronounced it differently, perhaps something like "Sahhh--keee--ahhhh".
