        Ah I see, so than I should conform and be like everyone else Andry?

        I think Hard notorious monster fits King Behemoth/Fafnir better than hyper.
        Screw this game.

          Jesus christ, you're all gay.

          They spawn at a greater interval of time than normal NM's. That is the origin of their names. Would you call something an HNM if it spawned every hour and a half or so?

            That makes no sense whatsoever. Perhaps I speak a different english, but when an NM spawns once a day instead of once an hour, I don't automatically think "oh what a hard NM." Or hyper. Or high.

                They are. Pple call them old HNM. And they are still hunted by pple in HNM LS.

                Faust is called Trigger NM. Genbu, byakko, kirin are called beast gods. Any Nm that are hunted by HNM LS are HNM. Who cares anyway.

                  HNM stands for highly notorious monster, because it is a replaces a normal NM with a harder type with a different name. IE: King Behemoth spawns in place of Behemoth. HMN are harder then their counter part, because of this people will often miss lable a very hard NM as HNM.

                  A HNM ls just goes after whatever will make people stand there in awe when someone checks their equipment, while they are standing in town or scouting around for what ever HNM or NM they need.

                        • I remember hearing

                          HNM=High-level Notorious Monster

                          Serket and Behemoth are HNMs. You may have heard stories that 2 people or 3 people can kill them but that is only if their teamwork is very tight. Serket can still kill 12 people if the teamwork is terrible and people don't know what to do (etc. use multi-hit WS' on it).

                          • Old thread but anyway...

                            On the competition thing, last night on Fenrir my LS (99% NA and a few HK) went to camp Adamantoise. There was only a 10% chance of Aspidochelone pop but defying the laws of probability it materialized. One of the 3 top JP HNM LSes was there but we had more people and were able to get help quicker. It was the 2nd time in a month we were able to win pull on it and beat it down.

                            Dropped Dalmatica abjuration, shell, ore and a lv70 DEF20 shield.
