    those blm af2 really kicks ass.

    But whats up with the thf af2. They get +12 enmity, and a lot of crap I don't need. For example, thf af2 gets a freakin "enhance mug effect." It's a 15 minute ability and so what if I mug 5 more gils than I normally do. The thf af2 increases all the crappy abilities I DON'T need other than th. I'll wear the hat for the +5 dex though O_o.

    The nin armor is sweet as hell too.

      Assassin's Bonnet - HP+16 DEX+5 Enmity+2
      Enhances "Mug" effect

      If you already didn't know, you can steal from 500G to 4000G from most higher level NMs. If this enhances that, maybe you can steal 7000G or more.

      Assassin's Vest - HP+22 AGI+4 Enmity+3
      Increases "critical" activation rate

      If dexterity increases chances of critical hits, imagine what a passive stat will do to it.

      Assassin's Armlets - HP+7 CHR+3 Enmity+3 Treasure Hunter+1

      There is only one other item in the whole game that can give you Treasure Hunter+1 and that is the Thief Knife which is very rare and expensive. Even if there is one selling in the AH (comes roughly once every 5 months), it will cost between 5-6million.

      Assassin's Culotte - HP+19 Enmity+2 Steal+5
      Enhances "Gilfinder" effect

      Probably gilfinder will make those gigas' in delkfutt drop 500-700G and having steal+5 on a single piece is wonderful.

      Assassin's Pouln - HP+15 CHR+5 Tripleattack+1 Enmity+2

      Tripple attack is probably the best passive ability of THF. An additional +1 will most likely double or tripple your chances to execute it.

      The only really bad thing about the AFs set is the hate increases. If you want to play a THF/NIN tank, it might be a big help.

        Surely that will only matter if you suck? The added hate will go straight onto your fuidama target.

          Yes I'm aware you can steal a couple thousand from adamantoise, behemoth, etc... But I don't exactly face those things roaming around every 15 minutes and mug is not exactly the way I get my money.

          I did mention that the piece of af2 that crarried a th+1 ability was useful. Other than that, I thought all the other abilities were pretty useless. I'm not spending 20 hours in dyamis trying to get a hat that lets me mug 2000 more per behemoth fight.

          On a side note, I didn't know enmity will effect the amount of hate transfered with trick.

            Nah, I think we just don't give 'em as much per hit...

                Conserve MP +5 on BLM boots... o.o Does that mean MP is conserved more often, or more MP is conserved? Im glad to see the BLM boots are better than my Hume RSE for once. XD

                  I'd say that's a good thing.. Think of some annoying abilities enemies have that could be prevented by not giving em as much TP. I'm not clear which abilities are "WS" and which are just abilities, but everyone's always referred to Shadows' Dimensional Death as a WS, which could be one example.

                      Also, while certainly SAMs won't be tanking often, it's better that the enemy hate a SAM than a backliner.

                        I personally think that the SAM gear looks pretty badass, mainly the gloves, helm and body.

                        The +accuracy and ranged accuracy should be nice on the helm, the meditate bonus I've heard is even stronger then on the AF one (possibly 140 tp on meditate) but maybe just a rumor. But finally...

                        +3 store tp just sounds GODLY to me!!!! we go from hitting for 14-15 tp per hit to 17-18, and what if you use a spear? you go from hitting 12-13 to 15-16! Imagine the penta thrusts! we're talking 75+ tp if all 5 hits land! I can't wait for this myself, sounds sooooo uber to me.

                        On a side note, I haven't gotten to use a hauberk/haubergoun yet so I can't really say how good that is yet. All in all, if it looks cool, and gets the job done... it's for me!

                        Also, my guess is that the lots are done for each alliance. Like maybe the other alliances in Dyanmis found more or less relics, but onlyt the alliance that defeats the monster is able to lot for the loot that he drops. So I'm guessing that instead of it being 1/64 odds for each relic that drops, it's 1/18. This would explain why so few relics dropped, because you might have only been seeing the relics that were dropping from one alliance.

                        Another rumor that I've heard is that the boss drops like UBER stuff, like multiple relics and high level crafting materials. Probably all just rumors of now, but I can't wait for Dynamis myself

                          while it's true that the old AF set had more, it's still there in the new one. 2 point difference... yet nin gets none, wtf?

                          instead, nin gets a body piece that would be amazing for any damage dealer..

                                you must mean 180.. sam helm boosts it by 20-40, gloves could do the same (perhaps more?). Still, I doubt it would go double the amount.

                                In reference to my earlier remark about Nin AF, my new guess is that square is trying to turn them into decent dmg-dealers OR thinks the extra damage / hits they'll get will aid them in keeping hate. (or both?)
