What are your best achievements so far in-game? Post them here. Please don't post stuff like, "I got <this item>" or "I've killed <this NM> so many times" or "I have <this amount of gil>"; you probably get the idea.

Post your greatest gameplay.
Post your greatest strategy used.

Post things nobody thought you can do. (I soloed this HNM)
Post things that are hard to do but achievable. (I won BCNM with only 5 people)

So of mine are:-
1. I "stole" Serket from Infinite Brigade. The HNM had already POPed and they thought they were safe so they decided to get some TP. I arrived in Garliage, used hide and flee before dropping down and found, taunted, and held Serket until re-enforcements arrived.
2. Thanks to a neurotic leader, I was in a PT that got Chain 9 in Gustav at level 71. Experienced gained was only 150 but to see that Chain was unbelievable.
3. Have been in a party that achieved a Chain 5, 300 experience kill. We were LV27-28 killing Sahagins outside the tunnel to Norg.
4. Able to come up to standard with "Veterans" that I used to look upon when I first started the game.

Others I have personally seen:-
1. RDM solo Serket
2. RDM solo King Arthro

Unrelated things I am happy to see:-
1. Very good NA players
2. NA players that I have helped offering me small tokens of appreciation although I have forgotten what I did :sweat:
3. Friendly NA players asking advice to improve.

-Achievements

- highest lvl american player on cerberus since lvl 50 (and i was lvling advanced job)
- first to get rank 5, 6, 7, 8 although no american client players have gotten past rank 6.
- the last person i partied with as bard for exp was lvl 53, yet i cant speak japanese or chinese.
- i was invited to a pretty powerful HNM LS and we get along really well
- Won BCNM 40 even though it flooded 4 times
- won genkai 5 on first try with bard ^^Y
- Overcame language barrier!

Records-
- hold record for BCNM 40 giddeus - 11 min 42 sec
- hold record for zilart mission 4 in den of rancor - i cant remeber but i think it was like 3 or 4 minutes

coolest thing iv seen-
1. ranger with strider boots and some other +run speed stuff with mazurka running around really fast and soloing beetles while waiting for serket. He had kraken club and the 2-3 fafnir sword and was going absolutely nuts.

-Watching Williams finally get the SMN quest complete after a 26 hour quest =P (When the JP expansion first came out)

-Having enough fame to accept avatar quests and only be a Rank II

-Atemping to Get to Norg with out a Kazham airship pass to finish ninja quest with moriya (First day of JP expansion)

-Finally found main job and stuck with it past 30 XD (I have 6 jobs 30-32 :sweat: )

-Being able to make a set PT with very good NA players, and avoid the hassle of Bad pts.

First NA player to unlock Dragoon on Carbuncle.
First NA player(that started at NA release) to get rank 8 on Carbuncle.
First NA player to start the Zilart missions on Carbuncle.
Being the 2nd highest level NA player on Carbuncle
Doing a 2068 damage penta-thrust on one of the genkai 2 monsters.
Got a chain 8 hunting sahagins in Sea Grotto for a DRG Testimony
Being able to finally group with the people that I thought were "uber" when I was new.

first importer blackmage to 75 i guess... and i am elvaan!
i thought seeing 7 chain was archivement... however elly beats me with 9 lol
and em.... having almost the entire set of elemental staff? lol
o! and the last man standing on mother globe fight!

Started the game with no knowledge of Japanese with around 4-5 other importers (didnt start on ragnarok with neogundan) and have managed to get this far (1 lv60, 2 lv65+). Killing the HNMs for the first time is memorable, even though doing it with a mage just isn't the same as a melee...

Made my own LS on NA release and have seen some very good players raised within the LS, thanks to my advice

Getting DRK to 65 is an achievement IMO, but getting it to 75 is my goal, my destiny.

Genkai1 at level 50 cap. Imo, this was the hardest genkai to complete (except Maat for some classes). There was no higher level ppl to join for help..everyone was 50, everyone wanted that lich pop, praying your PT wasn't KO'd by the 3 next to you when they didn't KO their explosure in time...such a crazy couple of days.

Fighting Shadow Lord at the lvl 55 cap. It was by far the hardest and coolest thing I had done to that point in the game.

Finally getting AF3. The orc NMs weren't the problem here..nobody wanted to go fight Ahrimans for keys. At the lvl 60 cap those things were so bad. I remember waiting around for days hoping, praying a key shout would start. Felt so great to finally equip.

Ziraat expansion. I got this 2 days after the jpn release. That weekend was so much fun exploring, dieing, fighting, just experiencing all the new areas with the LS.

Getting Level 65!. If you had to deal with the pain square caused when they decided to "improve" the experience system after genkai3..you know exactly what im talking about.

Taking those first steps in Tulia with some LS members.

Getting Rank 10 and the flags in all 3 nations with some LS members.

Beating Maat on first try about 2 hours after the patch was released.

Defeating Mithra and Elvaan AA...beat all 5 but those 2 where the worse by far.

Almost everyday something memoriable happens, guess thats why im still playing almost 2 years later...but these were the ones that stood out the most for me.

Anyway, not to say I don't believe you or anything, but when you say things like "First NA to achieve xxx and yyy," how do you know for sure that you were really the first?

- Soloing a totetote in Ifrits Cauldron as a BLM.
- Being PWNED by a 1020dmg meteor attack by King Behemoth.. even though my LS didn't get the pop.
- Running to Jeuno as a level 2 warrior when I first got the game... thought I was so cool

Not really in-game achievements, but:

- Playing the same game on and off for nearly two years.. never been that committed to anything before.
- Most of all, staying in touch with all the great people I've met in-game!

Spending 3 and a half hours getting fucking Frostmane to pop, only to have it jacked by a summons party that just so happens to be passing by at the moment... Now that's an achievement...

Then there was the cussing them out afterwards and calling them bloody thieves without revealing my gaijin-ness, I'm rather proud of myself -.-
