A lot of pts went to Quicksands from 50-53 and leveled off of Anticans and Beetles there. And for Boyahda, the crabs can really be 54-59.

The Champions/Farkiller in Davoi for from 57-60 were beefed up after the expansion patch was released. Tried it before and a single PT had too much trouble with near death.

If you're out of Windurst, the Maze of Shakrami (sp?) is a great place to level around levels 11-17 on the Maze Makers. There are always plenty of people around to form a party.

One thing I want to emphasize:

If you are about lv14 or 15, form a PT and go to korroloka to fight worms! I guarantee you will be ready to go to jeuno (lv19) in just few hours. That place offers the QUICKEST exp gaining ever.

Rangers are destined to be auto-leaders all their life. Here's a leveling spot guide for you all^^

Note 1 - Skeletons are not listed here. As you all know Rangers do half damage vs them. (You'd notice a LOT of bats/flies in the list

Rangers do almost double damage vs those!)

Note 2 - I prefer mad-chaining totes instead of totetotes.

Note 3 - I prefer non-crowded places

1-15 - Solo
15-17 - Valkurm (Crabs, Flies)
17-20 - Solo - Shakrami (Worms)
* Bring a few hi-potions just in case
20-24 - Qufim (Worms, Bats, Crabs, Giants, Fish)
22-24 - Delfutt Tower (Bats, Giants)
24-30 - Yutunga Forest (Mandragoras, Goblins)
30-33 - East Altepa (Beetles)
33-36 - Garlaige (Bats, Beetles)
36-38 - West Altepa (Spiders)
38-42 - Gustav (Bats, Flies, Goblins)
42-48 - Crawlers (Crawlers, Flies, Beetles)
49-52 - Garlaige (Bats, Beetles)
50-53 - Prison (Bats, Dogs)
54-56 - Kuftal (Crabs)

between lvl 11 and in early 20's, you can solo the Maze Makers in the Maze and still get mad exp. Especially if you are a BLM. MM's are the best to solo at those lvl's. I solo them at 21st and still get between 43-100 per kill, I know that there are other places to go to get better exp in a party, but is there better places to solo that give better exp without the danger of death? Soloing the MM's is actually quite safe and if you know what you are doing you will never die from fighting them.

Places to avoid:

Garliage at level 31, bats are a pain. You'll get ALOT better EXP at a much better rate in Altepa. Fighting beetles until they become tsuyo, then you can kill the dhalmels. Lovely place.

Eldieme at all levels. No point levelling against undead, no viper bite and always get blinded etc. What a pain, there are better places to level in.

Xarcabard. Undead here, no point.

Battlaia. EVIL place. takes a long time to find something suitable and then fish it back. Can't really chain much here. Go to yuhtunga instead, or even qufim.

Enemy types to avoid:

Undead, bats (the ones with jet stream), scorpions, exoray (dark spore will kick your ass), spiders and orcs.

Is there anyplace a level 34 Thief could go to solo? I dont have time during the week to PT so I would like to solo if I can. Can't I in Eltepa? Some monsters are "T".

I find it funny how, though there are 2 locations w/ P-crawlers in boyahda, there are 7 parties in one location and 0 at the other. It's the place w/ the ancient goobue HNM that hasn't been killed yet... There a reason for no one going there, other than the fact that no one knows about it? :sweat: 'Cuz I, for one, can't remember how to get there :sweat:
