Looks like you have a very very nice system except for the processor. If you upgrade that to something beyound the 1.5ghZ range than you are set. Just a suggestion.

I checked, the best my MB can take is a P3 1.13 ghz processor. Any faster than that and i'll have to get a new board, processor, probably ram (not too many boards use RDRAM- I think,) and maybe a new power supply too, not sure.

Of course with the US release coming at the end of this year, I may just have a new computer by then anyways. Hopefully.

Why do you need Direct X 8.1? Running XP and want to downgrade?

Search google for it, or look on some old free cd-roms.

Depends entirely on the computer, if its newer than v9 is faster, older is v8. Don't trust the internet, just pop in some old games or free cd-roms you get from pc magazine or whatever, and it'll be located on there.

edit: If you have directX 9 installed already and you want to downgrade (windows xp) than you are going to have to reload directx. Search google for "directx 9 remover", and you will need your windows cd-rom. I completed this patch sucessfully on XP Pro and 2000 Pro.

What are your specs of your pc? Than I can determine if it is a v8.1 or v9.

I'm thinking these are probably a little low. So should I just upgrade my viedo card or what? Thanks.

Vid card is all you need for another 1000-2000 points.
