Hmmm....
Well, I havent seen anybody post about a computer's score BELOW the minimum requirements, so here goes...
Pentium III, 551Mhz
384 MB of RAM
GeForce 3 Ti 200
Windows XP Professional
The highest score I received was 1264...
I was praying for the 1500 mark, but it never came... *Sigh*
So for those of you who think you have a decent video card, but not the Ãœber processor power, here's something to base yourself off of.-Saronic

To repeat myself....
If you are having problems running or installing the benchmark program, PLEASE ENSURE that your system NON-UNICODE PROGRAM IS DEFAULT TO JAPANESE ! 80% of the time is because people do not have it defaulted to Japanese.
You must have set "Language for Non-Unicode Program" to Japanese for Windows XP; and must have set "Language Settings for System --> Set Default..." to Japanese for Windows 2000.
This include problems with trying to read files when you know it is there.
Please follow the instructions here: http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/sho...=&threadid=898Signature was intentionally left blank.

Well I get 4770 with
AMD AthXP 1700+@1900+
512mb Infineon DDR
ECS K7S5A mobo
Hercules 8500LE 64mb@292/255
For sure I can go beyond 5000 when I overclock the system more, but my mobo does not have voltage settings so I have to solder a resistor to increase the voltage. My goal is to get the system running at 166mhz fsb, that would make my 1700+ a 2200+ at 1.83Ghz.

i need HELP
Guys I ran the benchmark around 20 times now and I can't get my score above 3015, that score seems waaaay to low considering my PC's specs
AMD XP 2800
1024 MB Ram
Ati 9700 Pro
Win XP home
DirectX 9.0
With that system I should be getting over 5000, compared to some of your scores. What could i have not set up right on my PC? I'm downloading some new drivers for my videocard, hopefully that will help matters. Any one have any suggestions on what else I could do to raise my score???

Come on, Velusip...that's a bit unfair, and inaccurate too, IMO. I mean, take a look at this:
==================
AMD XP 2800
1024 MB Ram
Ati 9700 Pro
Win XP home
DirectX 9.0
= 3015 MAX
==================
My System:
Athlon XP 1600
512 MB RAM
ATI 9000 Pro 64MB
Win XP Home
Direct X 9.0
Running in the Background:
MSN Messenger
Norton Antivirus 2K3
DSL connection
3x in a row:
3746
3771
3790
Exit/Restart Benchmark
3x in a row:
3806
3823
3795
Average score (3788)
He's right that he should be getting a much higher score, probably in the ~5000 territory.
Take that!

Actually one of the things people overlook:
What services and programs are running on the different computers?
What other programs that are running in the background that may take up resources?
How fragmented is the hard drive?
How fragmented are the System Files like the registry and event logs?
Those little things that add up to performance issues, and maybe one computer had different anti-virus settings. One set to scan executed files while the other scans everything.
Do you have the Remote Desktop on? Do you have the Assistance function on? Things like that take up resrouces.
What about bus speeds? What is your "better" system's bus speeds?Signature was intentionally left blank.

perhaps if I clean this computer out and do so...
THERE IS STILL HOPE!
