As long as the vacancy is not being owned by anybody who lives there, it's safe. Also, remember which address/name and number you put or else your in deep trouble. Incase the worst happens such as losing your pass or such, POL will ask you for those three before anything else.

I think as long as Square Enix gets their money they don't care a whole lot. But owuldn't you think they'd be suspicious of all the people with Japanese names paying with American credit cards?

well i don't know if this is true are not but i read something that said u don't HAVE to put in a address if u don't want to. and that all that happens if u do is u get a welcome card.

On the legal issue, yes it is wrong to be using another address in order to activate your account but you must udnerstand that the person who originally ordered the JP game was breaking the law by taking the game out of Japan and selling it to consumers at retail. The fact of the matter is, you cannot play the game w/out having a japanese address/name, so you might as well resort to using a plausible yet fake address rather than a real address that could belong to an actual residence. The main reason why i created this thread would be so people could make unique addresses so not everyone would have that same address Osaka posted in the PC setup guide.

i've tryed everything just can't get anything to work on the adrees bit's is there anyone in the uk who can help me or tell me what to do proper ? tryed using the letter's on keyboard type'in japanese but still doesnt work took me hours to get the name bit to work at this rate i'm just gonna have to sell the game cos i'll never be able to play :confused:
