It's unlikely that the caster is over 60ft away. Plus if it's only 5th level it shouldn't have any more 3rd level spells unless it has over 16 INT. Another fireball is simply not going to happen. Yyg didn't make any UMD rolls with the first one so we can rule out the spell coming from a Wand or Scroll (plus UMD being used by a Goblin is pretty likely to fail anyway given that Goblins are not known for having CHA bonuses).
All running away at this point will do is guarantee that people will die as we run along those thin corridors. There are plenty of 2nd level spells that can seriously fuck up a retreat (Web hitting the room will end all hope of a retreat). What I am trying to argue is that Armando healing up and us taking out these three Goblins then falling back will be the option that IMO will make it more likely that we all live.
If we had more healing spells available to us then a fighting retreat wouldn't be a bad idea. But given how many AoO's the party will have to be eating to run away it's just going to cause more problems. It's also likely to get Armando's character killed. We are very unlikely to see another Fireball and while Yyg is definitely willing to punish us for bad moves, he's not going to be that mean with us.

I think the bad move here is to continue fighting. If we stay and fight we are going to have party members die, it's just a question of who. If we retreat we can at least have Mezlo send a rolling ball of fire down the tunnel behind us to buy us some time to make a clean getaway.
Stop baiting Cid with lines like this. A little maturity can seperate those of us here from the rest of the forum. Cut it out.
There are 3 options that the party currently has to choose from. The way I see it, they are:
1. Run away
2. Push forward
3. Finish the current fight and then run away
You've all been disecting the possibile pros and cons of each option well and if nothing else, I'm glad that you're all actively discussing your choices. You've come a long way from "I DO NOT FEAR DEATH!!!" and are starting to rationalize.
Whatever option you choose, know this:
I am not afraid to allow you to die if you bring it on yourself. Fire is half correct when he says that I would punish a stupid decision. I won't PUNISH... but I also won't REWARD such decisons.
That being said, I have no tricks up my sleeve and the adventure has all been pre-planned out. Whether this is the last of the goblins in the tunnel or just the beginning is the gamble you're taking right now, nothing else.
Just remember to play to your character's alignment and make the decisions that he/she would make. Cid's character's primary motivation is self preservation. Mezlo's primary motivation is hubris. Thus far, you've played to your strengths. Aside my humble request to sidebar needless insults, carry on.

There are equal benefits (albeit different benefits) for each of those 3 choices.

Maturity has nothing to do with it. It's called having fun with each other. You know, the same way you all point out how I'd battle a dragon head on, even to my own demise.
Well I said in the session my character was going to go after the caster and to be honest doing anything else or retroactively changing the action that I did actually say before someone cut me off by talking during my turn, would be metagaming. It is also in my sheet that Lili is prone to being reckless and overconfident and having "Attack! Attack! Run Away! Run Away!" moments.

Which tunnel? The one that might have more goblins or the one that is blocked by two goblins who could kill off party members as they run past them? I'm not trying to troll you but so far all you have said so far is "run away" without any real suggestions as to how to deal with the fact that we are cornered and have to flee through at least 2 threatened squares, possibly more.
We have a ton of options to neutralise the caster entirely and turn the fight around:
Binding Darkness
Sneak Attack from Cid's character for the DoT effect provoking a concentration roll every turn
Grappling, trips etc
Sitting someone right next to the caster so they are forced to cast defensively
Any sort of vigorous or violent movement
Bottled Black Tentacles (Seriously weren't we going to save this to avoid a TPK?)
While I would love to see them used in a suitably Epic manner, this is sort of the situation where a spell like that could change the entire battle Mezlo.
I agree with Firewind. I don't want to push forward but we can't just ignore a caster that's already seen us. We know he can't be terribly far and we know the tunnel to the right can't be a staircase or he couldn't have seen us. If I remember correctly I still have one heal left and if anyone falls I can always cast Stabilize. As long as we don't ALL die at the same time we can take these dudes.
And Jarre, the black tentacles is a spell that when we discharge it, black tentacles that can't be damaged come up from the floor and "grapple" everyone within range. Basically it's 50 armando's in a bottle.
