We'll just tie her hands next time (which would be perfectly in-character after Firewind was almost killed.) I'm not holding it against Adam as a player since he was just roleplaying, but by the time we got to that room I was already tired of trying to dissuade his character.

It wouldn't even be an issue in combat because Monks are allowed to make unarmed strikes with other extremities.

So...shackle her wrists togther or shall we find a more creative way of keeping her from setting off traps?

^-^ i was playing my character. I know better then to open a desk or anything for that matter especially yygs way of thinking. But my character hasn't done much in the way of adventuring. Now she knows better then to open things hap haphazardly. Oh and i kinda was working off like 3 hours of sleep so i was a little out of it at the time as well. XD

And i didn't know unarmed strikes was useable with say kick attacks...

From Pathfinder's Monk page:

At 1st level, a monk gains Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. A monk's attacks may be with fist, elbows, knees, and feet. This means that a monk may make unarmed strikes with his hands full.

Interestingly, neither Stunning Fist nor Elemental Fist specify that the attack must be made with your fists, so that one would be up to Yyg.
