I'll print it out once you repost it and give me the green light.

This week we're not going to play. I'm using the time to finish some little things in the campaign... things I was going to ad-hawk before. Next week we'll be able to include TM and not force Armando to play as soon as he gets off his plane.

Take this time to finalize your character sheets and do a little research on combat rules and player mechanics.

Even if you don't want to buy a copy, I would suggest heading to something like a Barns and Noble to at least sit down with a 3.5 Player's Manual.

If any of you want to get online with me tomorrow at around Noon, I'll be happy to walk you through rules and mechanics all you want via Skype.

Let me know ahead of time.

It is a far better movie than you would expect an indie about a D&D campaign to be. As in it's actually good. I highly recommend it. It's on Netflix and also on youtube in 11 parts and kinda meh quality.

Graham: Galstaff, are you sure you've decided to haggle with the blacksmith?

Scott: Yes, and I'm using my Ring of Charm which adds a plus ten to all my convincing rolls.

Graham: You don't have to remind me... *Rolls dice* ...You seem to have convinced the blacksmith to lower the price on the sword.

Scott: Rock & roll! I use the sword.

Graham: What do you mean "you use it"?

Scott: I swing it around, to see if its magical.

Graham: Wha-what!? You can't tell if a sword is magic by swinging it, its not-

Scott: ...I know...

Graham: -not a light sabre. *Snort, chuckle*

Scott: Well, whatever. However I'm supposed to find out if its magical...

Graham: It's called a Detect Magic spell.

Scott: I didn't want to use that up...

Graham: Well say you slept for six hours after you cast it.

Scott: Okay. Detect Magic.

*Pause*

Graham: It's not magical. *Laughs*

Scott: Duuuuude, he said it was a magical sword...

Graham: He was lying.

Scott: He said he never tells a lie...

Graham: He was lying when he said that. *Snort, chuckle*

Scott: Duuuuude...

Jeremy: Hey, hey, hey! Look who brought the Mountain Dew!

Graham: Yeah!

Scott: Right on!

Jeremy: *Singing* Fly by night, the Mountain Dew-

Graham: Galstaff, as your stading in a dirt road-

Jeremy: *Still singing* Mountain Dew for you-

Graham: Swinging a very un-magical sword-

Jeremy: *Singing away* Fly by night the Mountain Dew

Graham: You see the strangest sight-

Jeremy: *Singing trailing off* Mountain Dew for you...

Graham: A halfling thief is wandering toward you, singing "Fly By Night".

Scott: Nightblade!

Jeremy: Hey-hey, hey, hey!

Graham: It's Nightblade, the halfling thief, and he's carrying a twelve-pack of Mountain Dew.

Scott: No waaaay. His character is carrying Mountain Dew too!?

Graham: If I roll a ten or above, yes... *Rolls dice* ...eleven.

*Laughter all around*

Graham: Here's your character Nightblade, where's Picard, the elven ranger?

Jeremy: He's coming, and he's bringing his girlfriend...

Graham: *Mocking* And your point is?

Jeremy: Well, she's gonna wanna play...

Graham: Fine. She can play. Anyone can play. We're a Brown Deer High School endorsed activity with membership open to the student body. I don't care if Greg Urdman wants to play if he brings his own dice. If Sara Doheeny wants to play Advanced Dungeons & Dragons with us, she can play Titanya.

Scott: OOooOoOoohhh...

Jeremy: Isn't that your character?

Graham: Its not my character, I'm the DM, sometimes I have to send non-player characters along with you, to provide vital information.

Jeremy: Yeah, but it seems like mostly you just end up talking through Titanya.

Graham: Whatever. Now we have a girl to play Titanya.

Marc: Hey guys, what's up?

Jeremy: Whoa-

*Greetings all around*

Jeremy: Hey hey hey, Picard.

Marc: Hey Sara, do you know everyone here?

Sara: I'm in Biology with Scott-

Scott: Gallstaff...

Sara: ...and you're

Jeremy: Jeremy.

Scott: He's Nightblade

Marc: And Graham.

Graham: Are you going to play D&D with us?

Sara: I don't really know the rules...

Graham: *Snort, chuckle*

Marc: Listen, there aren't any rules, it's a game of the imagination.

Sara: Oooh, okay.

Graham: This is your character sheet, your name is Titanya.

Sara: I don't know what any of this stuff means...

Marc: I'll help you.

Sara: Okay.

Graham: Well its way after four o'clock, so can we get started?

*Sounds of consent*

Graham: Nightblade, you've been chatting with Galstaff in the village road, and you now see Picard, the elven ranger, approaching.

Marc: And Titanya.

Graham: No, she's not here.

Sara: Where am I?

Graham: Titanya, you are in darkness.

Sara: Is there anything...here?

Graham: You're in darkness.

Sara: Ooh. I turn on the light.

Graham: *Snort, chuckle* Yeah, Thomas Edison appears in front of you and says "Idiot, I haven't been born yet."

Sara: I attack him with a-with my sword.

*Laughter*

Sara: What?

Scott: He's not really there, thats DM magic...

Sara: What??

Marc: It's a joke Sara.

Sara: I don't get it.

Marc: Come on Graham, you're confusing her.

Jeremy: I'm gonna go to the snack machine.

Graham: Wait, you guys are in the village.

Jeremy: (From the other room) Hey, I can still hear ya, let's go to the tavern!

Graham: Nightblade is wandering off to the tavern.

Marc: As usual...Oh, Nightblade always goes to the tavern.

Sara: ...So...am I still in darkness?

Marc: Maybe you should light a torch.

Jeremy: (From another room) Does anyone have another quarter?

Sara: I light a torch.

Graham: Very good. You are in a room, but no more helping.

Sara: Whats in the room?

Graham: Nothing.

Sara: I go to the door.

Graham: There is no door.

Marc: Graham!

Graham: The characters were in a certain place, at a certain time, at the end of the last adventure. I can't just put her on a *snort* fluffy cloud just because she's your girlfriend.

Marc: Well where is she?

Graham: If you can't remember, then your character can't remember!

Marc: Well, my character casts a Locate Person spell.

*Dice roll*

Graham: She's in the fifth sub-level of the Queen Of Spiders' dungeon, remember!?

Marc: Oh brother...

Jeremy: (From the other room) Am I in the tavern yet?

Graham: YES!

Jeremy: (From that room) Does anyone have an extra quarter, because otherwise I gotta get Funyuns.

Marc: "Galstaff!"

Scott: "Yes, my friend of steady arrow and ready wit?"

Marc: "We have to rescue Titanya!"

Scott: "I will accompany you, if you kill the blacksmith who sold me this sword."

Sara: Yeah, kill the blacksmith, that sounds fun!

Graham: Don't kill the blacksmith, that's stupid.

Marc: So, what are we doing it wrong now? He told me to kill the blacksmith, I kill the blacksmith.

Graham: But your character wouldn't do that.

Marc: What makes you such an expert??

Graham: The blacksmith turns into a dragon and eats you!

*Sounds of confusion and shock*

*A moment of confused, awkward silence*

Jeremy: (From that other room) The Funyuns are stuck in the machine...

Sara: I'm gonna go home. I'm just in a stupid, dark room anyway.

Marc: Sara, wait, don't go!

Sara: (Exiting the room) Call me later, OK?

Marc: OK.. ...What the hell is your problem?

Graham: What's yours?

Marc: I don't know what you're talking about.

Graham: Yeah, RIGHT! Don't get mad at me, because your girlfriend didnt have a good time. For God's sake, this is Advenced, Marc.

Marc: "Advanced" this! (I assume he gave Graham the finger.)

Graham: Shut up!

Marc: Oh, that's creative.

Graham: I'm not worried about my creativity, Marc. I'm the Dungeon Master. I control worlds. Universes. Every potion you drink, I mixed; every magic item you find, I put it there! You remember when you killed that Hill Giant?

Marc: I rolled a 20, double damage!

Graham: You rolled a 19, Marc. I fudged it. That giant would'a killed you, man. But I admired your spark, you wanted it so badly, so I helped. Because I wanted to, and I help people when I want to. And right now you're roasting in the hot belly of a Platinum Dragon, so why don't you ask yourself where your priorities lie?

Jeremy: Are we still playing?

Marc: Yeah...

Scott: In that case, Galstaff casts a Friendship spell on both o' you!

Jeremy: Friendship!? What kinda gayness is that??

Scott: Shut up, Nightgayed.

Jeremy: I'm not gay. I was in the tavern, with wenches.

Scott: Yeah, male gay wenches.

Jeremy: Like you and-

Graham: You guys, shut up. Titanya is here.

Marc: "Titanya?"

Graham: She says "What?"

Marc: "How did you get out of the dungeon?"

Graham: "I turned my Bag Of Holding inside out, wrapped it around me, and walked through the dungeon walls."

Marc: "You can do that?"

Graham: Its all in the dice.

Marc: "Well, lets go on an adventure."

Graham: Shouldn't we go get Sara?

Marc: No. You play Titanya.

Graham: Titanya gives you a crystal, she says "Any time you need me, you can use this."

Jeremy: Umm...are you guys being funny?

Scott: Eeeww...
