Well seeing as how Yyg just wandered in and let me know that the character sheet I drew up last night needs to be scrapped and redone in Pathfinder, I'm not entirely sure. What I do know is that I'm not aiming for the straight stereotype of sneaking around and cutting purses and all that. The basic character concept is a guy who spent a few years as part of a group of bandits and is somewhat mechanically minded. Downtime between raids is pretty goddamn dull and what else are you gonna do other than figure out how to open that damn lock, etc. Silently infiltrating places, not so much.

I got the sheet up on Myth Weavers if you want to take a look: Vince :: (Read-Only) - Myth-Weavers
I'm still trying to figure out if the character is actually Neutral Evil or just Neutral while being extremely self-serving and pragmatic.

It might all go out the window though if Pathfinder is really different.

So Yyg, what's our official "Go here to learn everything about Pathfinder" link? How much of my character sheet am I going to have to blow away and re-do?

You mentioned something about Python. Are you writing plug-ins for the program or something?

@Cid: I would guess Pathfinder_OGC Can anyone confirm?

Pathfinder_OGC Not much is different really but I would read over the class stuff.

And my Rogue was a stealthy, finesse type who, while cocky and at times, flat out reckless, would only charge into fights she knows she's going to win (mostly due to a massive fear of letting everyone down then her knowing her own limits). For the fights she knows she can't win she'd rather sneak around or pull some stunt that would tip the odds massively into her favour. Basically she's sneaky and careful until she knows she can win. Then she'll recklessly charge in in a manner that would make Rainbow Dash proud.

Thankfully the sheet was just a draft to show others my concept.

But since you went for a strength Rogue and I went for a Dex Rogue with a good Charisma score, I think we will be fine given that those stats apply to two different combat styles and out of combat skill sets . Strength Rogues tend to be more physical in their skill sets while Dex and Cha are more sneaky.

Also! Since we're using Pathfinder there are no multiclassing restrictions! Go wild! Pathfinder rewards and encourages it anyway since it means you get to cherry pick the best talents to customise the exact build you want for your character.

Oh man, it looks like there's a lot more content to Rogue in Pathfinder. Rogue Talents, gonna have to spend some time looking over that.

Not sure I'd call my character a STR Rogue, but yeah it's less sneaky. Actually I have no idea what I'd call my Rogue, I'm pretty much playing this by ear.

Druid is pretty magey, isn't it? Depending on how you play it.

Mezlo is playing a Sorc which can go pure mage or even battle mage in Pathfinder depending on your stats and if you're willing to multiclass.

Druid is perfectly able to be magey too if you don't want to play a shape shifting type. Pure Shape Shifting type is more a WoW thing anyway.

It's perfectly possible to make a magey Cleric too if you just go pure caster and skip on melee ability.

Erm .. ok I registered in mythweavers and I created a sheet, but now how do I fill it in? The only options I see are edit users and add to game.

                          Edit: Nevermind, found it <_<

Is there a reason it's so laggy, or is that normal? It drove me up a wall last night when I was filling it in.
