    Re: D&D

It looks like it has most of what you need, but I dunno. Start filling it out and see if you run into something that's missing from the sheet. That's how I figured out I needed a different sheet.

      In introduction to Ravakahn

The world of Ravakahn is a globe whose surface is spotted with continents... many of which have yet to be discovered.

The biggest of these is Voker, a hulking mass of Mountain terrain in a near constant state of war. In the current era, peace has veiled the land and the dust is only just settling from the last clash between crowns. King Rastor Graystaff of the Silverkin currently rules the realm. A Human Wizard who has proven that a King can be more than an aristocrat when he led his forces through the front gates of Arengar and set the would-be Capitol ablaze. Some would say he's a kind ruler, but those who have crossed his good nature and lived to speak of it tell tales of a far darker side.

To the East, is the desert continent of Zerdan.

Far to the South is the frozen wasteland of Kur.

To the west, is uncharted terrain... but few have braved the ocean's rough waters to seek some distant shore and none ever return.

Magic (and the ability to control it) is rare... causing those with the gift to be either feared or respected. Due to their limited numbers, many are coveted by rulers and often times employed as weapons in their campaigns. As a result, most go into hiding or don't practice their arts publicly for fear of drawing too much attention.

      Ignore this... I'm changing things.

Not quite hate... but let me give a little bit of detail into the combat mechanism you seem to be alluding to.

Suppose you're engaged in melee battle a foes. You roll as you normally would for an attack and you land a 20*. That's great! That means you have a THREAT to crit. It guarantees that you at least HIT your enemy... but wow you roll again to see if the hit was a critical or not. The way you decide this is simple. You treat the second roll as if it were just a regular attack. If it would have been a hit... your original attack was a critical. If the second roll would have normally been a miss... your original attack was just a normal hit. Simple enough?

*Different weapons have different critical ranges. Some are only on a 20... while others are 19-20. Also take a look at the critical multiplier attached to various weapons. It may make you re-evaluate your weapon choice.

Oh, ok. I had already read that about crit mechanics but it didn't click with me that the term "threat" was referring to the possibility of a crit. Ok then.

Screw the dragon disciple route, I didnt know that was considered a multi class. I'm leaning now towards a rogue...

Also, could someone post a character sheet we could all use? Cid's links get the ban hammer from work.

I'm using the google doc spreadsheet I linked above. It's a bit sluggish, but yay for cloud resources.

Yeah. Unfortunately... all the good sites I know of are all blocked by webby-sense so I can't give any good links.

Cid, you mind trying to provide one that we can universally use? Worst case scenario... I'll find one to post here that people can print out.

                    Eh? What? Umm...

If people can get to GoogleDocs I can see about uploading the official 3.5 character sheets to some shared folder. Maybe. Does websense block googledocs? TM posted a thing.

                      Myth-Weavers - Powered by vBulletin

I use this all the time. All you need to do is sign up to the forums and then set No Script to allow the site so that fields in chaarcter sheets are auto-filled when you add stats and gear.

I have a draft sheet here based on my SWTOR character: Lili - Rogue - Ygggame :: (Read-Only) - Myth-Weavers . If anyone else really wanted to play a Rogue then let me know, I don't mind changing since I threw this sheet together pretty quickly.

Also if anyone wants any character building advice then let me know.
