Ooh, I like the idea of certain things triggering it. Needing to keep him well-fed would be pretty amusing, or no feeding him after midnight and making sure to not get him wet.

Okay since we're going to have two skill Monkeys in the party (Rogue and Monk) I'm thinking of going Rogue/Sorc/AT instead of Rogue/Wiz/AT (The latter combo would let me min/max skill ranks but elves can have Sorc as a favoured class anyway so I'll still be able to grab those extra Skill Ranks or HP per level). Plus Sorc is easier to work into the story anyway then my character suddenly ending up with a spellbook and familiar one day.

Anyway because of this I have two questions for Yyg:

Is the below Sorcerer archetype allowed?

      Seeker (Sorcerer) - Pathfinder_OGC

Is the below Sorc Bloodline allowed?

      Draconic Bloodline - Pathfinder_OGC
      Rahal Gerrant - Balmung - 188 DRK
      Reiko Takahashi
      - Balmung - 182 AST, 191 BLM, 182 SCH, 188 SMN

So I totally did not realize this was a thing:
            Favored Class

Each character begins play with a single favored class of his choosing—typically, this is the same class as the one he chooses at 1st level. Whenever a character gains a level in his favored class, he receives either + 1 hit point or + 1 skill rank. The choice of favored class cannot be changed once the character is created, and the choice of gaining a hit point or a skill rank each time a character gains a level (including his first level) cannot be changed once made for a particular level. Prestige classes (see Prestige Classes) can never be a favored class.
            http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/character-advancement#favored-class

Are we using this rule? Because if so I have totally neglected it thus far and would like to see about retconning some of it in the next time I gain a level.

Oh, and Yyg, even though you aren't letting Fire do the draconic bloodline thing, I'm still going to be able to prestige into Dragon Disciple won't I?

We'll see who's laughing after I get Greater Grapple and I get to roll twice.

EDIT: Yyg, what level was the hand anyways? Wouldn't he need like 10 hit die to have 50-ish HP?

                EDIT2:
                Rapid Grappler (Combat)
You are a quick hand at grappling.

Prerequisite: Dex 13, Greater Grapple, Improved Grapple, Improved Unarmed Strike, base attack bonus +9 or monk level 9th.

Benefit: Whenever you use Greater Grapple to successfully maintain a grapple as a move action, you can then spend a swift action to make a grapple combat maneuver check.
Am I reading this right? Does this give me a third grapple action? (Greater Grapple lets me maintain a grapple as a move action, so I can use my standard action to make a second roll.) EDIT3: Yes, yes it does.

Fair enough, the default Arcane Bloodline is actually even more powerful than Draconic but I promise I won't exploit the Arcane Bond rules to the point of absurdity.

                  Arcane Bloodline - Pathfinder_OGC

There's also some silly shit you can pull off with the metamagic stuff too but I don't think I will have enough feats to really make it overpowered anyway.

                  This:

Dragon Resistances (Ex): At 3rd level, you gain resist 5 against your energy type and a +1 natural armor bonus. At 9th level, your energy resistance increases to 10 and natural armor bonus increases to +2. At 15th level, your natural armor bonus increases to +4.
I will never have enough levels in it to get the crazy dragon powers but yeah that alone is enough to ban the bloodline when you consider that Mage Armour and Resist Energy are bonus spells and they stack with those bonuses... XD

Man, you really love resist energy. Out of the 5 sessions we've had so far, where could we have used it and benefited from it?

The snow storm in our second session. Also, we're like level 3. Yyg hasn't opened his box of elemental sex toys yet.

                      Do not get pinned.

EDIT: If we had chosen to fight the myconids, they probably would've used acid spit on us.

We've also pretty much owned every caster we have fought too.

Resist Energy is flat DR to magic damage. It's basically Phalanx for magic damage. It doesn't sound like much but trust me, when you fight stuff that uses elemental damage it will be VERY useful.

This worries me. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

In other news: Immovable Rod can be abused in so many ways, it's hilarious. I'm sure I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of what I can do with this thing, but it's going to be awesome.

That's why I took Step Up and Improved Grapple. I'm not going to let any caster take a 5 foot step away from me and cast safely. They'll have to work for it and go through Concentration checks.

Yyg: Can I use Lunge to start a Grapple from 10 feet away? The rules as written imply I can since it's basically a range extension, but I want to double check with you before I take that feat.
